We offer several sport-specific camps and a multi-sport camp empowering boys and girls ages 6 to 18 to fine tune skills with the leadership of top coaches and an emphasis on leadership and mental skills.

Program Overview

Multi-Sports Camp

Our multi-sports camp (for boys and girls ages 6 to 12) offers eight sports per week. Play and learn two sports per day with instruction, games, special events, and swimming featured weekly! Lineup includes: baseball, basketball, European team handball, flag football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, and street hockey. Want to focus on a specific sport? Add one of our sport-specific camps and customize your summer. This program camps is open to boys and girls attending any school and runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Sport-Specific Camps

Our sport-specific camps are led by St. John’s Prep coaching staff and top coaches from the area. Focus on a sport and master established skills, learn new techniques and take it to the next level! These camps are open to boys and girls attending any school and run Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm.

9 to 9:30 am Mental performance skill work

10:05 to 10:30 am Dynamic warm-up, stretching
10:35 to 11:50 am Morning practice

1:15 to 2 pm Chalk-talk work, film study

2 pm to 3:15 pm Afternoon practice
(group work, stations, and competition)
3:30 to 4 pm Pool (Mahoney Wellness Center)

OUR FACILITIES

From athletics to the arts, the 175-acre St. John’s Prep campus in Danvers offers exceptional facilities including field house, two pools, a theater, art studios, labs, turf playing fields and much more.

Wrestling Camp (Boys)

Wrestlers of all ability levels will be challenged in a variety of traditional and progressive drills that aim to develop the individual wrestlers skills and understanding of the sport.

Soccer Camp (Boys)

The staff, lead by St. John’s varsity soccer head coach Dave Crowell, is made up of the most well-respected local high school and college coaches. The camp will incorporate drills which they use at their own practices to help prepare players for the next level.

Soccer Camp (Girls)

This camp is designed to provide instruction to girls who are looking to fine tune their skills with some of the best coaches around from professional level coaching to club level coaching.

Baseball Camp (Boys)

Skills and drills, hitting technique, position specific instruction, scrimmages, feedback from our coaching staff

Softball Camp (Girls)

The clinic is designed to develop softball fundamentals in a competitive and fun environment. Players of all ability levels will be challenged in a variety of traditional and progressive drills that aim to develop the individual players skills and understanding of the game.

Basketball Camp (Boys)

Shooting, ball handling, rebounding, passing, principles of motion offense/movement, defensive strategies

Basketball Camp (Girls)

Shooting, ball handling, rebounding, passing, principles of motion offense/movement, defensive strategies

Lacrosse Camp (Boys)

The clinic is designed to develop lacrosse fundamentals in a competitive and fun environment. Players of all ability levels will be challenged in a variety of traditional and progressive drills that aim to develop the individual players skills and understanding of the game.

Volleyball Camp (Coed)

This camp provides an opportunity for both girls and boys to hit the deck and compete together on the volleyball court. Our coaches will provide instruction and a fun environment for all to learn and grow within the sport.

Football Camp (Boys)

What you’ll learn: receiving, blocking, throwing, catching, route running, blocking schemes

Water Polo Camp (Co-Ed)

Brand new sport-specific camp that will allow girls and boys the ability to learn this unique sport and have some fun in the John A. Driscoll ‘90 Aquatics Center in the Leo and Joan Mahoney Wellness Center.

Strength & Conditioning (Boys)

Improve endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. Workouts are held on the Brother Linus, C.F.X. Athletic Commons and in our new, state-of-the-art Wellness Center.
