Passing an AP exam has many benefits including earning college credit or receiving high placement in college. Private tutoring is available by subject for the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams. These sessions are designed primarily for students currently taking an advanced placement class as part of their high school curriculum. While taking a class is not a prerequisite to taking an AP exam, it is highly recommended. Motivated students can benefit from additional time spent with an expert, reviewing difficult concepts and focusing on specific topics that AP readers look for in free response questions. One-on-one time can make a considerable difference in a student's score on the AP exam. All of our AP tutors are experienced in teaching their respective AP subject and many are also College Board AP Readers.
AP tutoring will consist of 5 75-minute sessions of one-on-one instruction. Sessions will be held at St. John's Prep at a schedule to be agreed upon by the teacher and student. To register for an AP tutoring session, please select the subject that you would like help with and if you have a preference of available teachers please specify. If you do not see the subject that you need please email Ms. Sandra Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if your request can be accommodated.
