2019 SUMMER SCHEDULE

Read on for descriptions of EAGLES/EDGE specialty camps. Families please note! EAGLES/EDGE offers two convenient routes for all EAGLES/EDGE summer programs. One route stops in Malden, Melrose, Reading, Wakefield, and Lynnfield. A second route stops in Swampscott, Salem, and Beverly. First pick-up on both routes is 8 am for 8:45 am arrival at St. John’s. Buses leave St. John’s at 4:15 pm for drop-off by 5 pm.

Writers Workshop

This workshop will focus on developing the theatrical writing of students. Students will write and workshop their own short plays, while also serving as actors and directors for one another.

Summer Theater

Rehearsal process is “workshop style,” focusing on acting development, and will culminate in three productions at the end of the summer.

Chamber Strings Workshop: Name that Tune

Students will focus on improving their abilities to learn and play melodies by ear and through musical notation.

High School Audition Workshop

Students will learn theater audition skills, practicing a variety of repertoire. Students will select from contemporary monologues and style pieces, and learn how to impress at a nontraditional audition.

Middle School Audition Workshop

Students will learn theater audition skills, practicing a variety of repertoire. Students will select from contemporary monologues and style pieces, and learn how to impress at a nontraditional audition.

Ceramics/Pottery Session 1 Middle School

Try Ceramics/Pottery for the first time on the Prep campus for both girls and boys. Led by one of our highly talented art department staff, Tim McAullife.
