Ryan Bird ’02, Director of Auxiliary Programs

Ryan Bird oversees all of the EAGLES/EDGE programs. A hands-on leader with coaching experience at the youth, high school and college levels, he likes to create opportunities for young people to try new adventures and improve their skills. “Knowing that you can impact their lives in those important developmental years is very rewarding,” says the North Andover native and University of Maine graduate. He’s always up for a game of pick-up basketball with his son, and loves spending time with his family, working out, and hiking with his dog.

About St. John’s

Founded on the Xaverian values of compassion, humility, simplicity, trust, and zeal, St. John’s Prep educates young men in grades 6 through 12 to stand for good in the world. In small classes led by dynamic and caring teachers, students go for the deeper understanding – of themselves, their classmates, and the world beyond St. John’s. And it’s good that unites students from 80 communities, two states, and different backgrounds into one brotherhood and a global network of 15,000 graduates.

St. John’s is an inclusive, Catholic, Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School. Inspired by servant leadership – the belief that each of us is capable of influencing any situation for the good of others – St. John’s empowers students to grow in faith and wisdom, promote human dignity, act with compassion and integrity, pursue justice and peace, and live lives of service to society.
